Some of Hans van Mierlo's speeches are collected in a posthumous book. Frits Bolkestein wrote crazy review about it in Vrij Nederland. This portrait provides a little balance.
I looked at some Moebius drawings for inspiration but failed miserably in getting anything like his transparency, shine, colour.
